Old Faithful begins to erupt.
There's a story that goes along with this shot. Some of my co-workers back home caught a bit of my excitement about visiting Yellowstone when viewing the Old Faithful webcam. We agreed that I would be at Old Faithful at 7:45 am on the morning of June 13 so I could turn and wave to them. Well, I was at Old Faithful with time to spare, but finding the webcam was another matter. Fortunately, I did find the webcam and positioned myself accordingly. There I was, facing the webcam at 7:45am (with my back to Old Faithful) when at 7:46 the famous geyser blew! I quickly turned and got off a couple of shots. The next two images tell the story better than words!
